unGlue
It is an iOS app that helps parents oversee their kids' online activities.
Role
While the unGlue kid's application was already in progress, the client invited me as UX/UI lead designer to join forces with the start-up creative team and re-design the brand identity, website teaser, and unGlue parents' mobile iOS application.
I was responsible for working collaboratively with the unGlue team in research, strategy, concepts, and product design.
Problems
Most kids in the household spend most of the time on the phone and a few things parents can do about it.
Most parents are uninformed of what type of content their kids are watching, neither for how long.
Parents would like to spend more time with their children, not glued to their phones.
Discovery
We interviewed stakeholders to learn about their expectations and business requirements to take into consideration. Also, we conducted interviews with seven parents in our circle of friends and colleagues because of stakeholders' privacy concerns. Previously, to the in-person interview. We sent a survey asking a couple of questions regarding their most crucial task list to oversee their kids' online activities. In the interview, we asked more in-depth questions about users' pain points, goals, and daily habits
Besides the interviews and surveys, we performed a competitive analysis with the following products:
BARK:: QUSTODIO:: NET NANNY
Findings
We start our creative sessions with the team, identify user flows, experience maps, develop the apps' information architecture, sketch our first wireframes, and ensure the user navigates effectively through the app.

Future Steps
Sadly this app didn't survive our difficult times of the virus, market competition, etc. The company closed in the spring of 2020.
Learnings
Prototypes are not 100% reliables. The audience gave us feedback on not fully functioning prototypes. As a result, we could address most of the interactive issues but, we need to keep testing and attached any analytics tool to the live app to better our decision-making odds and understand our users' journey.
