Role
Phno Ad Agency hired me to lead UX experience for the internal site for advisors and vendors. I created prototypes to share vision, design principles, and gain alignment to drive decision making.
Problem
Our biggest challenge was to make this experience transparent, secure, and seamless for all parties involved. We had limitations of a complex existing structure of the app that we had to take into consideration.
Approach
I partnered with a project manager, Jr designer, and stakeholders, to uncover insights and translate concepts into features that address customer behaviors and motivations.
Discovery
Saving time and working with our needs, we decided to simplify the current structure for the customer's internal app and onboarding process. Our assumption was simple–vendors and product advisors frequently visit the app, and they were familiar with the existing conceptual model. We just had to make it easy to use, transparent and seamless, and change and simplify the onboarding structure to improve the customer experience.

Solutions
Our top-down and bottom-up structural redesign stopped forcing unnecessary choices on users. Our design decision of bringing together the onboarding process for Vendors, Product Advisor, and customer eliminates all types of confusion and makes it user-centered, showing relevant content after the user signed in. Designed for easy to use, and make informed choices without overwhelming them with information.
